It’s been a while.
What do you write about in times like these?
On January 1st we were all so hopeful, as every year. Plans were made and goals were set, only to be met by a year of madness.
But everybody’s writing about the madness already.
I decided to spend the last few months quiet, listening instead of adding another voice to the chorus. There was a lot I wanted to learn. There still is.
Within all the craziness, I’ve been fortunate enough to have had a lot of time to reflect. Something I realized is that spending my energy here on this blog takes away from my ability to create other work. Writing that means more to me, that hopefully will have lasting impacts on others. I’d like to write books instead of blog posts.
So I’m saying goodbye to this blog, this side project I’ve had, in one form another for the past 11 years. Thank you for being here. Thank you for reading. The site will remain up and you may see it change shape or form. My contact page is still open, if you have questions about running or coaching.
I hope you are well. I hope that despite the madness, you are able to see the good that still exists, and you take this opportunity to reflect and make change where it’s needed.
